Altum are currently supporting a global media brand to find an experienced FP&A Manager to lead the EMEA FP&A team, working closely with the Commercial Finance Director and CFO. The role will be responsible for creating key financial insights for the region, managing the FP&A process and consolidation, providing high quality management reporting. To support you there will be two analysts reporting directly into the role.

Key responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Director of Commercial Finance and the EMEA CFO with overseeing the financial performance of the EMEA markets and proactively identify key trends and actions

  • Lead delivery of key management reporting deliverables, including the monthly results, quarterly forecasts and annual budget in-depth analysis and commentary of client revenue trends, costs, risks and opportunities

  • Partner with Group / Local Commercial Finance and Financial Control teams to align on requirements and deliverables to ensure quality output, strict adherence to deadlines and consistency in reporting formats

  • Work proactively and build strong relationships with EMEA Markets finance teams and Group finance teams to drive best practice sharing, alignment and common priority setting

  • Support wider key departmental analyses and projects;

  • Any other related work to the commercial scope as defined from time to time.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)

  • Significant PQE experience in a complex multinational environment, Media preferred

  • Experience in being responsible for the FP&A function of a sizeable multi-unit organisation

  • Excellent working knowledge of SAP BPC, or a comparable consolidation tool

  • Strong ability to digest and synthesize information for use at executive level

  • Able to run a tight deadline process with strong attention to data accuracy

  • Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks

  • Strong communication & presentation skills
