Finance Manager - Life Sciences

Altum Consulting are partnering with a leading Life Sciences business in their search for a Group Reporting Manager to join their team. This position is a key hire within the business, playing a crucial role in overseeing the financial operations of their UK subsidiary and contributing to their global mission of delivering innovative health care solutions.

This role will provide for an excellent opportunity to develop and grow long term with the business as they continue this growth journey. This will include responsibilities outside of just BAU and involvement with interesting and unique projects such as further developing and expanding the team, leading system and process improvement projects amongst other areas. This role offers a hybrid working arrangement with a good mix between working from home and in their offices - however, for the right individual, there is flexibility here as well.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting for the UK subsidiary.
• Analyse financial data to provide practical insights for strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and track key performance indicators.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and industry standards.
• Involvement across various project and transformation work in addition to BAU
  
  

The ideal candidate will:

• Be professionally qualified (ACA, ACCA or similar)
• Have proven experience in financial reporting
• Be proficient in financial software and ERP systems.
• Have excellent interpersonal and leadership skills for effective team collaboration.
• Have sound understanding of financial regulations and compliance.
