Background
Altum Consulting were recently engaged by well-established multinational manufacturing company with operations spanning over two decades. They had recently acquired a major competitor which was running on an Oracle system, distinctively different from their existing SAP framework. This meant they were dealing with two different systems, causing data fragmentation, operational inefficiencies, and a lack of holistic visibility across the entire enterprise.

Recognising the challenge, it was decided that an upgrade was necessary, and they chose to transition to SAP S/4HANA. This move was aimed at integrating the disparate systems of the two businesses and fostering better data management, streamlined business processes, and a unified view of the entire enterprise.
