​Management Accountant | £55-65k | 6 Month FTC (Temp to Perm)| Social Enterprise | London/Remote

A rapidly growing non-profit organisation is looking for a Management Accountant to join them initially for 6 months with a strong possibility of a permanent contract after. This organisation has a fantastic social purpose and has tripled in size over the past 5 years, with a view to continue in this way. The Management Accountant role will be a wide-varied role working with complex income streams as well as assisting in their audit processes and delivering their management accounting.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Lead on all month-end reporting and provide insightful analysis and commentary on budgets vs actuals

  • Assist in the upcoming audit, working directly with the external auditors providing them with relevant information.

  • Provide accurate forecasting and budgeting across various departments

  • Oversee transactional finance and manage a Bookkeeper.

  • Working towards monthly financial reporting including P&L and balance sheet reconciliation

  • Building strong relationships with various stakeholders across the organisation to deliver relevant financial information

The ideal candidate:

  • A fully qualified candidate (ACA/ACCA/CIPFA/CIMA)

  • Experience in working in a detail orientated finance function

  • Experience of working with complex income streams

  • Ideally have experience of project accounting

  • A strong excel user

  • Ideally have some experience of management

  • Excellent communication skills

This role will be crucial in delivering relevant financial information and investigating how processes can be improved. It will be working within a great team with a varied workload and opportunity to make a mark. With Central London offices, they are flexible around remote working (1-3 days in the office).
