Accountant

Altum Consulting are currently supporting a globally recognised brand to recruit a newly qualified accountant, looking for an immediate start for a fixed period of 12 months with the possibility to extend into wider projects across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Business partner with global teams in the US, UK and Europe including compliance, commercial finance, risk & advisory, treasury, tax, IT and parent/group.
• Have experience in balance sheet and P&L ownership, review, process improvement and monitoring.
• Month end duties; FX accounting, intra-company balances, trading reports and accounting submissions.
• Liaise closely with the outsourced shared service centre to ensure delivered work is to standard, accurate and compliant with relevant policies and procedures.
• Work closely with the regional and group consolidation teams, ensuring compliance with performance and delivery standards.
• Support on ad-hoc projects across the next 12 months; system improvement and implementation exercises.

Key Requirements:

• Immediately available to start
• Newly qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA
• Prior audit experience or industry experience working within a finance team of a large organisation
• Keen to lean and develop new skills through operational exposure to a wide reaching finance team
