Anaplan Modeller

Altum Consulting are currently working with a globally recognised FTSE business that provide services across multiple market segments. It is known for its consistent performance delivering value to shareholders. With a recent uplift in M&A the business is striving to grow over the coming years and has made sizeable acquisitions with this strategy in mind.

We are seeking a highly skilled Anaplan Modeller to an established Data and Business Intelligence team. This role is crucial for implementing and the ongoing development of Anaplan and will get exposure to other tools in the BI stack.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement driver-based budgeting and forecasting models using Anaplan for one operating company during phase 1.
• Expand and enhance the model to cover all operating companies in phase 2, introducing more complex functionalities.
• Integrate additional business processes into the model, including supply chain management, planning, and commercial strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality of BI tools.
• Spearhead the creation of an Anaplan centre of excellence within the team, setting the standard for future developments and team expansion.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience in Anaplan model building and management.
• Familiarity with BI technologies such as Amazon QuickSight, Cognos, SAP, and Power BI is advantageous.
• Strong understanding finance processes is a must and exposure to supply chain processes and commercial planning is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently as the first hire in a growing team.
