Senior Manager Finance Operations (FINOPS) | £45,000 - £50,000 | 12 Month FTC |Consumer Industry

Altum Consulting are currently partnering with an international consumer brand to recruit a Senior Manager Finance Operations to support their team on a 12 month FTC. This role reports directly to senior finance paying up to £50K + Package.

Key responsibilities:

People Management

  • Have proven experience managing multiple AP & AR junior reports
  • Experience in all aspects of people management; appraisals to performance reviews etc.
  • Be able to demonstrate a mature and balanced approach to varied people management scenarios

AP / AR Experience

  • Proven ability to manage AP & AR ledgers across debit and credit, identifying variances and rebalancing where required.
  • Review and support junior reports work to promote growth in skillset and ability
  • Reconciliations of AP & AR ledgers

Payment Runs

  • Demonstrate control and awareness across payment runs working to tight deadlines and delivering efficient control across processes and payments
  • Be accurate with routine processing in accordance with internal and external timetables
  • Be able to support junior reports in a positive manner and assist with transactional work where required

Process Improvement

  • Have initiative to pro-actively improve processes, saving time and enhancing skills of your junior reports across the team.
  • Work to continuously develop an improvement framework, setting operational goals, KPI's, monitoring achievements and areas for improvement.

Key Attributes:

  • A fully or part qualified CIMA, ACCA or ACA equivalent
  • Direct report management experience, with demonstratable examples
  • Experience within an operational finance team within a medium sized business
  • Consumer industry experience required
  • Strong excel skills
  • Dynamics 365 experience preferred
