​Altum Consulting are pleased to partner with a Global financial software provider to find a Senior Financial Modelling/FP&A Analyst. The role will cover a range of FP&A activities including modelling and analytical support for all aspects of the organisations key three year planning, performance reporting, M&A Financial modelling and ad-hoc analysis.

Reporting to the FP&A Manger you will ensure the highest quality reporting and analysis are delivered. You will gain experience of analysis, business partnering and gain exposure to Operations and Key stakeholders in a fast-paced organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading on the design of the core financial model for the business (3 – 5 year model) and build in a “high level” extension to set targets for regional budgeting process.

  • Responsible for building detailed excel-based models for prospective acquisition targets covering all aspects of business, operational and financial strategies.

  • Understand and explain model results and wider commercial implications, verbally and in written reports.

  • Preparation of monthly Group Performance and quarterly Board packs.

  • Ad-hoc analysis e.g. trend, scenario & sensitivity analysis.

  • Helping create and produce financial and non-financial reports on group financial plan.

  • Working in conjunction with the rest of FP&A team members to drive best practice and consistent processes.

Key Skills

  • Qualified to CA, CFA or CIMA levels.

  • 3 – 5 years post qualification experience, preferable with significant exposure to M&A.

  • Advanced financial modelling is a must.

  • Experience using business information tools such as Yellowfin, Tableau, Power BI or equivalent is beneficial.

  • SQL experience is beneficial.
