Senior Financial Accountant

Financial Accountant | 3-6 Months | Milton Keynes | £350/day (Subject to Experience)

Altum Consulting are supporting a PLC consumer brand to recruit a Senior Financial Accountant to join this high growth, well-funded business throughout a year end period supporting the general financial accounting and group finance teams.

This role reports directly into the divisional group finance lead.

Key Responsibilities:

• The responsibilities of the role include maintaining the EMEA ledgers in compliance with group and local statutory accounting requirements.
• The candidate will assist in implementing and improving month-end processes and internal controls to accommodate the company\'s rapid growth.
• They will complete month-end tasks, collaborate with various teams to ensure ledger accuracy and meet group deadlines, and prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• The candidate will also support audits, prepare local statutory accounts, promote best practices, report any issues or opportunities, drive efficiency in daily operations, provide assistance to the finance team, and participate in ad hoc projects and collaborations with the EMEA Finance team.

You will have:

• Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA Accountant
• Happy to work on a flexible working basis, both in office and at home
• Have finance experience within a Retail, Fashion or FMCG business
• A friendly and career driven work ethic
• No more than 1 months\' notice period
• Driving licence & car required to get to the office
