We have an immediate need for a Senior Finance Business Partner for an international NGO. The role will act as the "trusted advisor" to the fundraising and communications team and play a key part in shaping and improving the management accounting function. The ideal candidate will support in embedding and developing the finance systems.

Key responsibilities will include;

  • Advising the senior leadership team with meaningful analysis and business insight
  • Working with Fundraising Department Heads to produce their multiple year budgets and forecasts
  • Introducing and monitoring activity tracking and KPI analysis, to aid business decisions
  • Working with budget holders to improve their financial and forecasting capabilities and to improve accuracy of management information
  • Development of planning, reporting and finance systems
  • Working closely with management accounts team to produce board papers and improve management accounting function
  • Deputising for the Head of Finance when requested and undertake any other duties required to support finance function within the department

The organisation is going through a period of change and therefore offering opportunity to shape and impact the role and management accounting team. There is potential for this to go permanent.

The ideal candidate will have experience business partnering with senior stakeholders, be a fully qualified CCAB accountant and ideally have experience of leading/developing a team. Experience in charity fundraising or commercial environment desirable.
