SENIOR ASSOCIATE - CORPORATE FINANCE

​Altum Consulting are working exclusively with our client in the search of a highly ambitious and motivated Senior Associate Corporate Finance to join their Global Corporate HQ located in Amsterdam.​

Our client is a multinational, revolutionary and innovative healthcare business who are highly advanced with the technologies and R&D of their products. They have a global presence and a European Corporate Head Office located in Amsterdam.​

This role offers a wide scope of activities and exposure across the business and requires someone who can manage a variety of disciplines from finance to tax to corporate strategy and more.

This role combines the business administration of a Global Financial Headquarters and Global Corporate Finance project work. It offers exposure to a wide variety of business challenges and will push the successful candidate to always be looking for new and improved ways of doing business.

Working within the Financial HQ, the Senior Associate will be reporting directly to the General Manager and will be responsible for;-

  • Supporting the businesses 13 divisions globally and working with the Senior Management team on array of projects spanning a variety of disciplines

  • Overseeing the global cash management initiatives

  • Develop initiatives to improve global working capital

  • Acting are a core part of their global approval processes including;- analysis of business strategy, M&A, and global financing

  • You are a core member of the global treasury function supporting with;- cash planning, inter-company financing and building/maintaining strong relationships with international banking partners

  • Drive initiatives on multiple projects

  • Support the administration of the financial headquarters with activities such as;- annual statutory audits, tax issues and accounting issues

Education and Experience;-

  • Educated with a Master degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent

  • Holds a formal accountancy qualification (MBA, CFA, CA, ACA, CPA, etc.)

  • 5 years of overall work experience within a multinational and complex environment

  • 2-3 years big 4 audit or advisory experience

  • Strong international accounting knowledge

  • Ability to manage multiple projects whilst meeting tight deadlines

  • Detail orientated - ability to focus on small details whilst seeing the big picture

  • Ambitious and curious nature where you are willing to learn from senior management with a variety of business backgrounds, expertise, and disciplines

  • Ability and confidence to come up with new ideas and suggestions

  • A proactive team player that is continually pushing themselves and others

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with strong boardroom skills required

  • Fluency in English language required, with proven strong business writing ability
