Altum Consulting are currently recruiting for immediately available contractors with experience in internal audit to join an established technology business. This role will complete an existing project which is evaluating the effectiveness of internal controls that have been recently implemented.
Key roles/responsibilities include the following
- Evaluating across the business with various stakeholders that key control implemented are fit for purpose and have been working effectively
- Analysing check process to ensure consistency across departments
- Producing clear and concise reports summarising effectiveness of controls providing recommendations and actions where appropriate
- Review of company wide balance sheet reconciliations process.
- A Qualified Accountant (CA/ACA/ACCA)
- Practical experience of internal auditing and controls in industry.
- An effective communicator; you’ll be engaging with the business from day one
