Management Accountant

Management Accountant | £35-39k | Permanent | Housing Charity | Hybrid

This Management Accountant role is an exciting opportunity to join a well-respected housing charity as the team develops and grows. This would include working towards all month-end processes, working closely with key members of the team both inside and outside of finance and contributing and developing existing processes to ensure efficiency across the management accounting function.

Key responsibilities;

• Deliver month-end reporting and provide insightful analysis on ad hoc projects
• Produce accurate and timely management accounts for various areas of the organisation
• Produce balance sheet reconciliations
• Prepare ad-hoc reports for various departments
• Prepare accruals and prepayments and posting relevant journals
• Bank reconciliations, bank administration and management of credit cards
• Liaise with relevant departments and external suppliers

Person specification;

• Experienced in month-end processes
• Ideally have some experience working in either a charity or housing association
• Strong excel skills
• A proactive and enthusiastic individual to work well in a fast-paced environment
• A strong communicator ideally with experience of working with a variety of stakeholders to deliver financial information
• A self-starter with the ability to work independently and proactively
