Altum are excited to partner with a well-known hospitality company to find them an Investor Relations Analyst to work closely with shareholders and the wider commercial teams. This is an excellent opportunity to join a private equity backed company and become a key part of their continued strategic growth.

Reporting to the Head of Commercial Finance, you will become a key link between the company and investors. This is a fast-paced environment and requires a proactive individual with a commercial mindset.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take control of quarterly Board Packs and deliver these in an appropriate manner
  • Take over the 5-year cashflow forecasting
  • Deliver presentations and analysis to encourage Board discussions
  • Organise weekly/ monthly reporting requirements including sales performance, cash usage and occupancy
  • Cultivate data sources to aid efficiency of reporting and analysis
  • Quarterly Capital Expenditure and headcount reporting and meetings
  • Ad hoc reporting to shareholders as required
  • Trace competitor activity and KPI’s
  • Sustain historical KPI information to aid future requirements across the business
  • Examine developments in capital markets and make suggestions accordingly
  • Recognise, analyse, and report on factors affecting long term profitability
  • Highlight risks/ opportunities to the Senior Management
  • Take ownership of the forecast modelling e.g., make improvements to existing models and get it exit ready
  • Help Improve, regulate, and automate budgeting and planning processes across the business, aiming to deliver accurate and robust reporting, financial controls, and data integrity
  • Participate in budgeting and re-forecasting cycles with Finance Business Partners
  • Scenario analysis and ad hoc modelling

Key Skills

    • Qualified ACA/CIMA/ACCA or similar (ideally 2+ years post qualification)
    • Educated to degree level with 2:1 or higher
    • Excellent communication and organisational skills, with exceptional attention to detail
    • Experience within Transaction Services, Corporate Finance or similar
    • Previous experience in a similar role within real estate or private equity
    • Ability to calculate and understand key profitability ratios and present this data clearly with useful insights and suggestions
    • Understanding of Capital Markets
    • Excellent use of Microsoft Excel, SAP By Design, Salesforce, Power BI or similar tools
    • Ability to meet deadlines, multi-task and perform under pressure
    • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships and manage senior stakeholders
    • An excellent team player with a positive attitude
