Altum are currently supporting a listed Ecommerce platform to find them a best-in-class Head of FP&A to drive forward the planning processes and information provided to the business.This role will form a bridge between Commercial Finance and Management Accounts, providing insightful planning, budgeting and reporting for the leadership team.Someone with a high level of commercial acumen, a keen eye for detail and the ability to streamline processes will be the ideal candidate.

Key Responsibilities;

·        Financial Planning - lead business through annual planning and budgeting cycle

·        Coordinate process across Finance team: timetabling, managing templates and input submissions

·        Lead forecasting across full P&L, Cashflow, Balance Sheet

·        Synthesize key figures, drivers, assumptions throughout the process for Finance and Exec discussion

·        Capture and evaluate risks & opportunities for the business as a whole

·        Evolve existing process for rolling forecast including design and implementation of templates & models

·        Support business through strategic decision-making process

·        Ad hoc analytical work, including corporate development and M&A

·        Leading a team of two qualified accountants


Key Attributes:

·        A qualified accountant ACA/CIMA or equivalent, with significant experience in financial planning

·        Experience working in a data lead business, ideally a large retail, ecommerce or technology company

·        A passion for data and the utilisation of planning tools (Anaplan an advantage)

·        Ability to influence board level stakeholders

·        Excellent academic record, including top tier university degree

·        Experience in a line management role
