Head of Finance

An newly-created opportunity has arisen to join a brilliant charity and evolving focussed on supporting refugees secure employment as the new Head of Finance. This position will report into the Finance Director, oversee a small team and act as the face of finance to the wider organisation. It will pay a competitive salary and offer hybrid working, with 1-2 days per week required in the Central London office. As well as this, it offers great benefits and the opportunity to really drive the organisation forward and help it achieve its important goals.

As the new Head of Finance your role will include:

• Developing relationships with senior non-finance colleagues and acting as a Business Partner; advising them on their budget
• Ensuring accurate and informative monthly management accounts are produced
• Producing relevant and tailored reports for the different areas of the organisation
• Improving systems and processes including ensuring oversight of the restricted funding the organisation receives
• Generally working on your own initiative to identify and implement improvements to systems and processes

The ideal Head of Finance will:

• Be a qualified accountant
• Have a passion for humanitarian issues
• Have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with and influence those outside of finance
• Have experience managing colleagues
• Be a self-motivated individual with a problem-solving mindset
