Altum Consulting are excited to be supporting a leading Real Estate investor/developer based in London to secure a technically strong group accountant to join an already high performing finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Production of consolidated financial information and reporting for the Group
• Deliver accurate and timely regional, country and asset-level financial information to the business
• Present and communicate in-depth analysis of P&L performance to senior finance leadership, regional leadership and asset management teams
• Balance sheet control oversight for key balance sheet items, including working capital
• Design and improve system-led finance business processes to drive efficiencies and remediate weaknesses identified in finance processes
• Involvement in ongoing finance improvement initiatives

Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

• Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA), ideally first time passes. The ideal candidate would be up to 2 year PQE from a major accountancy firm or real estate organisation
• Experience working in/with large, complex, multinational organisations
• Experience in property/construction preferred
• Excellent excel skills with experience dealing with large data sets
• Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Self-starter, takes ownership and happy to create own processes and manages with multiple / new data sources
• Knowledge of European language(s) beneficial but not essential
