FP&A Manager - Global Logistics - £65-70K basic plus bonus

Altum are currently supporting a global logistics business to find them an FP&A Manager. The role will take ownership of the global budgeting & forecasting cycle, produce precise management reporting packs and business partner with international stakeholders. Its an exciting opportunity to develop and redefine how FP&A is conducted within the business on a global scale.

Key Responsibilities;

  • Coordinate the annual global budget process and forecast rounds.

  • Develop and produce executive and board management reporting packs

  • Business partner to executive cost centres, helping set budgets/forecasts ensuring performance is clearly reported and understood

  • Propose, develop and implement new performance KPI’s

  • Develop budget/forecast tools and models, and integration into Hyperion

  • Provide financial modelling evaluation and due diligence to any M&A or investment opportunities

  • Develop best practice and continuous improvement of Excel tools and financial analysis methodologies

  • Process improvement; assess, scope and redefine existing processes under own initiative; with appropriate approvals where applicable

  • Mentorship of any junior analysts

Person Specification;

  • Full accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)

  • Degree level educated (2:1 or higher)

  • 2-3 years post-qualified experience in an FP&A/financial analyst role

  • Logistics industry experience desirable

  • Strong Excel user (experience building financial models from scratch is essential)

  • Experience improving processes and procedures

  • Ability to manage international stakeholders
