We are seeking an experienced Senior FP&A/Revenue Analyst to join a Corporate Finance Department in Utrecht.
What will you do
Provide rolling revenue forecast based on available information provided by sales regions.
Perform monthly close tasks related to booking reporting.
Report and analyse variance between actual revenue and Budget/Forecast.
Involvement in review and advise on contracts and sales orders to warrant proper revenue recognition in the context of IFRS15 in all stages of the sales cycle.
Attend weekly Sales FCST calls to early signal any exposure/opportunity
Assist regions with revenue recognition, aligned to contractual commitments and accounting guidelines and perform audits to ensure proper revenue recognition.
Establish and maintain bookings and revenue guidelines for different stakeholders (e.g. Finance and Sales)
Cooperate in cross-functional project team to implement a new Contract Management System
Knowledge and skills
Strong understanding of financial processes
Very strong Microsoft Office skills, in particular Excel
High attention to detail and an ability to explain financial results
Strong analytical skills
Understanding of financial accounting and revenue reporting
Ability to work independently and balance multiple projects and processes simultaneously; be a self-starter
Tenacious, resilient and drives for results
High comfort level with ERP systems and analytical applications
Bachelor or Master Degree in Business Administration or Finance and Accounting
5 or more years FP&A experience
Experience in a high growth, rapidly changing work environment required. Must be able to work with a strong sense of urgency both as an individual contributor and as a member of a team
Must be team oriented and have the confidence in dealing with people at all levels within the organization
Strong understanding of financial processes and pipeline management from Marketing to Sales;
Ability to work independently and balance multiple projects and processes simultaneously;
High comfort level with ERP systems and analytical applications;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, including the ability to explain financials to non-financial leaders.
