This is an integral position with a multi-billion pound revenue, market-leading, technology business. The Finance Manager/Business Partner will hold responsibility for the central costs base for the business and own the International Capex plan.

Responsible for all reporting (cost and capex at month-end), budget, forecast, and also business partner the cost owners internationally and the business unit Finance Directors.

Key Responsibilities:

Budget, Forecast and Business Partnering

• Prepare the budgets, forecasts and long-range plan for central costs and capex.
• Present findings and insightful information to senior stakeholders covering analysis of costs. This needs to inform senior decision-making from Director to Board level
• Provide in-depth analysis and commentary on risks and opportunities for central costs and capex
• Aid decision-making in relation to potential cost savings and overspend
• Build collaborative relationships and help challenge central cost and capex owners in the UK and internationally

Reporting:

• Work with Group Finance to ensure timely and accurate reporting
• Work with SSC to ensure transactional process is completed correctly
• Provide insightful analysis and commentary of month-end results
• Responsible for payroll review working with HR Business Partner

Person Specification:

• CIMA/ACCA/ACA Qualified Accountant
• Strong control mindset
• Ability to drive process improvements
• Strong understanding of finance systems in a fast-moving environment
• Great interpersonal skills
• Technology experience not necessary but a similar industry desirable
• Good knowledge of systems
• Strong in Excel
