Our client is now looking for a Finance Manager to be an integral member of the Management Team, reporting to the Financial Controller. Primary responsibility for all accounting and internal control of the Amsterdam Cluster. You will lead and develop the Cluster Finance department and manage the day-to-day finance operations to meet all current and anticipated requirements ensuring full audit compliance through control of financial & legal reporting and implementation of procedures. You will also analyse performance levels and put in place solutions to improve revenue streams and profit conversion for the attractions. In association with the General Manager, manage the team to gain full commitment to and actively contribute to the agreed strategic direction of the finance department.

 

The Person                                          

Highly motivated, with a professional qualification or working towards. You’ll also need an in-depth understanding of local procedures and regulations. You must possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills, as well as the energy and dedication to bring continued success to this key attraction. Experience of financial reporting, especially with DUTCH GAAP, is essential with the ability to produce monthly forecasts. You will be a self-starter, solution focused and possess strong communication skills (both verbal and written) alongside motivational skills. Computer skills are a  must, advanced excel skills required including knowledge of macros and proficiency in MS Word. You will need a flexible approach and a proven ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and multi task as necessary to meet a deadline.
