An exciting opportunity has arisen within one of our partner
charities for a Finance Manager, based in London. This charity is an amazing
organisation that works tirelessly to help young and vulnerable people secure
employment. They have existed for over 15 years and have enjoyed continuous
growth annually. They constantly aspire to new standards of social impact and
excellence within the community to transform society and enable people to
overcome disadvantages.

 

Please note, for this role there is a genuine occupational
requirement for the incumbent to be a practising Christian.

 

Duties include:

  • Managing the charity’s
    finance function

  • Monthly management
    accounting duties including balance sheets and bank reconciliations

  • Assisting with Annual
    budgeting and business plans, including interdepartmental liaison

  • Cashflow forecasting and
    reporting

  • Analysing income with
    financial models

  • Assist with preparation
    for year-end audits

  • Lead statutory annual
    group reporting

  • Ensuring the efficient
    and effective running of the payroll function

  •  

The ideal candidate:

  • Have experience with the
    above listed duties

  • Experience in a
    fast-paced finance team

  • Close to qualifying in
    either CIMA, ACA, ACCA or AAT

  • Self-motivated with
    excellent time management and organisational skills

  • Excellent analytical and
    problem-solving skills and high attention to detail

  • Have experience with
    Xero and Sage Line 50
