Our client is an international video-on-demand business that has seen substantial recent investment and is forecasting healthy growth as a result. The Finance Manager will cover a broad role with both reporting and commercial responsibilities, setting and maintaining the control environment, and ensuring sensible commercial decisions around content production and acquisition.

Responsibilities will include:
- Financial reporting
- Control of financial records and general ledger maintenance
- Manages all period closes
- Management of 2 junior members of staff
- Review of VAT returns and VAT audit work
- Point of contact for UK auditors and manage that stat accounts preparation
- Financial planning and analysis
- Supervise budget and forecast preparation
- Assist with profitability analysis
- Investment analysis for content acquisition, ensuring suitable ROI
- Appraisal and analysis of new business model, as worldwide on-demand is rolled out
- Ad-hoc analysis for the FD and MD where required
Suitable candidates will match the following:
- Qualified accountant with post qualification experience (ACA, CIMA, ACCA)
- Media sector experience would be preferred
- Strong communication skills and an ability to business partner with non-finance
- Analytical and problem-solving skillset
- Great communication skills
- Team orientated attitude, and an ability to manage and mentor others
- Experience of stat accounts preparation
