Altum Consulting are partnering with a children's charity to find a Finance Improvement Lead on an initial 6 month contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to join the charity as they go through a period of change to improve their processes.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work on a project to deliver a clean balance sheet reconciliation position in conjunction with the existing team
  • Take on financial accounting processes
  • Implement existing process improvement activities
  • Work closely with the Finance Systems team to provide robust and controlled integration between the CRM and the finance systems
  • Deliver process instructions, guides and other documents for finance users of the processes

 

Candidate Profile:

  • Strong interpersonal skills are essential for the role and the organisation
  • Experience of delivering rapid improvement in reconciliation positions
  • Understanding and experience of the legal, contractual and reporting requirements for charities and funded organisations
  • Charity sector experience
