Our client, a a global high growth fintech business is searching for Business Continuity Manager for operating multi-nationally and undergoing a huge period of growth.
The Business Continuity Manager will focus on strengthening the existing BCM programme, building disaster recovery policies, helping shape how the business adapts the programme as they continue on their huge growth trajectory. You will enjoy working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment and be highly adaptable. You will have experience with Business Continuity programmes and the ability to build relationships with a range of different stakeholders to produce best-in-class BCM documentation.

This Business Continuity Manager offers fantastic exposure to senior stakeholders across the world – the right candidate will have strong verbal and written communication skills. You’ll work closely with the Risk team and collaborate with HR, Finance and Legal. Your main communication will be with the Technology team to help drive the business’ technical strategy and contribute to company-wide decision making.
Chair meetings with technology stakeholders across business continuity, operational resilience workstreams, disaster recovery, and risk
Maintain and improve business continuity framework documentation and processes
Help produce and develop a framework for continuous improvement within the BCM framework
Drive ongoing improvements in relation to resilience framework
Draft policies, procedure and strategy to help protect the business against sudden changes
Manage the technology risk register, maintain and manage controls on existing risks and identifying new ones
Develop and manage the global testing process for E2E Disaster Recovery
What we’re looking for from you
Knowledge of regulatory & compliance requirements such as ISO standards across Europe, APAC and North America
Experience managing complex BCM programmes including production of Business Continuity Plans s, BIAs (Business Impact Analysis), Disaster Recovery plans and crisis management
Excellent skills and experience in the writing, development and improvement of disaster recovery documentation
5 years + experience identifying, managing and mitigating operational risks
Significant experience in a similar role within a regulated financial services company
Experience working with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Project management experience
Strong reporting, communication and presentations skills
