Key Responsibilities
- Ownership of financial processes, which include cash flow, preparation of monthly management accounts, nominal account reconciliations,
- Assist with ad hoc budgeting and reforecasting process
- Support the year end and interim process
- Review the balance sheet and monthly preparation of reconciliations
- Evaluate the monthly/ quarterly VAT report and submit returns
- Review intercompany balances/ recharges – monthly review, journal entries, invoicing, reconciliation and maintain timely settlement
- Arrange weekly payment runs and bank reconciliations
- Maintain monthly accruals and prepayments schedules
- Monthly Cost analysis/ tracking
- Yearly upkeep of process notes for the team’s usual responsibilities
- Attentive filing for all payments/ receipts, and efficient recording of all relevant electronic records
You’ll have/ be:
- Studying towards an accountancy qualification (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent)
- Previous accounting and general ledger experience
- Excellent Excel, PowerPoint, and general computer skills.
- Team player, willing to help team members wherever possible
- Proactive and quick learner
- Adaptable, inquisitive, and collaborative
