Accounts Payable Manager

Altum are excited to be working with a FTSE 250 Technology Business to help source an experienced AP Manager to join their finance team on a permanent basis. Leading a team of 16, the AP Manager will need to build relationships with both suppliers and internal stakeholders to understand how improvements can be made and to adjust as the business continues to grow and evolve.

This hire will be a key role in the operational finance leadership team and will be responsible for taking ownership of the AP team.

What you\'ll be doing:

• Managing the AP team
• Developing relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
• Introducing technology and automation (Invoice scanning, internal requisitions etc)
• Improving controls around the payment process
• Understand implications on other teams like financial reporting and treasury.

What you\'ll be/have:

• Intermediate Excel skills
• Experience of managing large teams
• Confidence to challenge, change and improve.
• Collaborative, proactive, and professional approach
• Ability to understand the challenges of multiple parties and find single, effective solutions.
