Altum Consulting are partnering with one of our most prestigious clients - US listed, multi-national organisation who are leaders within their specialist field of Manufacturing.

Due to continuous growth of the business and on-going success, I am supporting my client to recruit an ambitious Finance Manager to join their EMEA Head Quarters which are located in Amsterdam.

Reporting directly to the Senior Finance Manager and working closely with the Director, the Finance Manager will be responsible for;-

  • Overall accounting and reporting for the Accounting and Reporting department for the EMEA regions

  • Team management and development of 5-7 direct reports

  • Managing stakeholders externally and internally within the business across EMEA regions

  • Regular and accurate financial reporting under US and local GAAP 

  • Balance sheet reconciliations

  • Preparation of monthly, quarterly and year end closes

  • Regular reviews of the balance sheet and P&L

  • Processing inter-company transactions

  • Ensuring all transactions are recorded and processed in a timely and compliant manner

  • Fixed Assets and depreciation

  • VAT and Intrastat Accounting

  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders

  • Attending regular board meeting with Senior Management to provide essential reports and updates relating to the performance of A2R

  • Instigating and implementing process improvements and efficiencies for the A2R function

Education and Experience Requirements;-

  • Educated with a Masters in Accounting or Finance

  • 5+ years proven working experience within a similar accounting function

  • Proven management & leadership experience

  • Strong communicator both written and verbal across the business

  • Ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders both internally and externally

  • Adaptable and openness with a continuous improvement mindset

  • Fluency in the English language is essential

  • Must hold a valid work permit or EU passport
