Twenty one Altum Consulting colleagues, including myself, are taking on an incredible adventure to run one of the world’s toughest marathons in Sierra Leone for our 2019 “Altumate Experience.”

That’s 85% of our business taking part. I’m so proud of the team and how engaged they are in supporting our mission to give more people the power to fulfil their promise. In this case, supporting children impacted by the Ebola crisis, conflict and poverty in Sierra Leone.

Our Altum Foundation supports two schools in Sierra Leone through Street Child. They will be training teachers, renovating classrooms, improving children's access to water and sanitation, providing learning materials, and giving integrated social support for the most vulnerable children. We’ll be giving 300 children an education that will start them on the path to change their world.

During our time in Sierra Leone we will visit our two schools in the Bombali district; a very rural part of Sierra Leone. Please follow our journey - we will update you with pictures, share our experiences and show you how your donations are appreciated by all the families and children.

So far we have raised over £8,900 of our £21,000 target. Whatever you give will change a child’s life: http://bit.ly/donate-altum

What is the Altumate Experience?

The idea behind our Altumate Experiences is to create life changing adventures for our people, pushing them to achieve more than they ever thought possible, whilst raising money for The Altum Foundation. Last summer we cycled over 470km from our Amsterdam office to our London headquarters, raising over £17,000.
